Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn (Spsvi̊ /cɪ̞n/ [bait] [allergy]) is a subtropical Town located in Tmevi̊we County, Híhmíhkātwèpli Provence, within the Tauranian United Provinces.

The name Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn was founded by Goůh́a Gwilym, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Overview

Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1243, by Goůh́a Gwilym. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn is is constructed arround a semi-circular narrow canals mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. The town's exceptionaly well made fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Kèr Spsvi̊cíhn ’s existence was once fed by scholarly pursuits. But the income once drawn in by the works of scribes and academics has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Everywhere about the town one can see abandoned schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Even in these times.

The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.
